How Am I Billed?
Charges for your local service and equipment, including Cable television and Internet services will be billed one month in advance. Long Distance calls
will be billed the month following your usage. Installation and service order charges will be billed after the work is completed.
Payment For Service
practices, all charges for exchange service and equipment, and for all toll messages or service rendered to his station, including federal and state taxes
and such deposits as may be required by the company.
Pay by Mail:
Simply mail your bill in the preprinted envelope provided for you in your monthly statement.
"Automatic Payment" :
Automatic Payment is a convenient way to save time and money! This automated payment program automatically pays your
Rochester Telephone Bill. When you use Automatic Payment your payments are paid automatically from your checking or savings account.
You don't have to write checks! You save time spent writing and mailing checks plus the cost of postage. Your bill is paid on time every time.
You never have to worry about forgetting a payment or mailing it on time. Automatic Payments are extremely accurate. And there are no
checks to be lost, stolen, or delayed in the mail.

health and safety of a person in your household. In such cases, disconnection of service will be postponed for ten (10) days. One (1) additional ten-day
(10) postponement will be granted upon the provision of an additional medical statement.
Inability To Pay
If your account is delinquent, we will attempt to make reasonable payment arrangements to prevent disconnection of your service. Call your Service
Representative in these cases to discuss your circumstances.
What Happens If I Can't Pay My Bill On Time?
If you can't pay by the due date, call your service representative. The number is at the top of your bill. We try to make payment arrangements
for illness or other circumstances beyond your control. Rochester Telephone Co. does apply an extra charge for bills paid after the due date,
and repeated late payments will damage your credit record. You may be asked to pay a deposit or an additional deposit as a result of late
payments. Very late payments also may result in disconnection of your phone service.
How Can I Get Service Restored If It Has Been Disconnected For Nonpayment?
All charges billed for service must be paid before your service can be reconnected. There also is a charge to help
pay for reconnection work. You will need to re-establish your credit, and a deposit may be required.
What Would I Do About Questions Or Mistakes On My Bill?
Call your service representative who can answer questions, investigate possible errors and provide information
about bills. Your service representative's telephone number is on your bill.
Telephone numbers are the property of the Rochester Telephone Company and numbers may be changed when
it deems it desirable and necessary in the conduct of its business. However, the changing of a number is done as
infrequently as possible.
